A third-party description paints a slightly different picture. aihaven.com, in March 2026, describes the free tier as "Basic text chat with limited messages. Enough to evaluate conversation quality and test character customization, but no image generation or premium features." The popup today lists image generations, so either the offer changed or one of the two descriptions is loose.

My read on free

I'd treat the free tier as a sample tray, not a plan. Ten rounds of chat is enough to judge tone and not enough to judge memory, and the image and video items are a taste of the product rather than a way to use it.

My advice: use the free rounds to test one character's voice and one image. If both land, the shortest paid plan is the next step. If either misses, the free tier has done its job by saving you money.

I did the sensible thing and looked outside. Third-party sites all quoted different prices, and nothing matched what the bot showed me. I felt like I was comparing airfare: the same seat, five prices, and each one valid only on the site that printed it.

What both tiers include

The feature lists are nearly identical. Both tiers include "create your dream GF or BF". Both include unlimited text messages.

Both tiers include adult roleplay, videos and selfies. Both include priority creation. The difference that shows on the public page is the token allowance, covered in the next section.

What outside reviews quote

aihaven.com, dated March 2026, lists $12.99 a month for 1 month, $9.99 a month for 3 months and $5.99 a month for 12 months. Those match today's MBR prices, which is a rare bit of agreement in this app's paper trail. The same site says cryptocurrency payments, Bitcoin and Ethereum, are accepted.

Is the step up worth it?

I'd be suspicious of the list prices first. A list price of $719.88 for a year of Pro is a number designed to make $107.98 look like a gift, and I don't believe many people ever paid the first one. The real comparison is between the discounted prices.

Two items bother me more. One character listed on the home page has a back story built around dropping out of high school. The footer's search links include one whose label names a family taboo.

I think both are bad calls on a site that asks visitors to confirm their age. They conflict with the spirit of the platform's own rules, and I'd count them as a reason to skip the house characters entirely. If you stay, build your own character and keep the public grid closed.

That habit came from work, not paranoia. Real-estate footage often can't go public before the listing does, and I treated the chat with the same discipline.

A registered company in Malta with a Gmail address for contact is a mixed signal. The company is real on paper, while the mailbox looks like something set up in an afternoon. I'd keep every receipt and every support message in writing.

Age and data

The Terms require users to affirm they are adults: "You affirm that You are more than 18 years of age". The Privacy Policy says no data is collected from anyone under 18. Those are standard lines, and they only mean as much as the self-declaration behind them.

Law, disputes and the rest

The Terms are governed by the "laws of United Kingdom". The service is "controlled and offered ... from its facilities in the Malta". Claims must be brought within one year.

Other legal pages are Community Guidelines, a Disclaimer, a Complaint Policy and an 18 U.S.C. 2257 exemption statement.

The legal documents are dated "Last modified October 20, 2024". Nearly two years without an update is long for a product that has added a video generator.

My summary: a Malta company, British law, a Gmail inbox, a one-day refund window and chats that may train models. None of that is unusual in this corner of the market, but together it is exactly why I'd keep a real name out.

The repetition is harder to forgive. The age gate and the new-user perks popup reappear on most page loads. Seeing the same two screens on every click is like a shop assistant greeting you again every time you pick up a different shirt.

Then there are the sales tactics. The first-subscription countdown is fake urgency. Token pack prices are hidden from logged-out visitors.
