So what is OurDream AI as of September 2026? An all-in-one adult suite: chat, image and video generation with Character, Pose, Outfit and Scene presets and an "Edit Image" mode, voice calls, audio messages, a Feed, a Community, Packs, Comics and Group Chats. The site claims it is "Trusted by over 50m users". I read that like a banner on a used-car lot: large type, no audit.

My verdict: OurDream AI is worth one paid month for an adult who wants to see what a lip-synced character clip feels like, and who can treat the coin balance like a bar tab with a hard limit. It is the wrong app for anyone after a cheap daily chat friend, a working free tier, or a clear answer on what happens to their chats. The plan price gets you in the door, and the coins are where the evening gets billed.

What the rest of this page is based on

My story is the lived part of this review. Everything else, the screens, the prices, the chat sample, the settings and the terms, comes from a check of the web version on 24 September 2026, signed in on the free plan, which replaces an earlier look from the day before. That is not the same app my Renata lived in, since hers was a paid account in the winter, so where then and now differ, I give both with their dates.

That split matters more here than on most apps. OurDream AI changed its free tier between my time and today, its coin prices moved, and the price page now answers in the local currency, so a review that only told the old story would mislead you.

No app-store links appear anywhere; it is a web app. There is no native mobile app, and the site can be installed as a PWA from Safari on iPhone or from Chrome on Android. I don't mind that.

The first visit opens with an adults-only gate. It asks the visitor to pick an interest: Females, Males or Trans. The buttons underneath read "I'm over 18" and "Leave site".

I like a gate that asks who you want to meet before it asks for anything else. It is honest about what the site is for, and the "Leave site" button is a small courtesy most rivals skip. What the gate does not do is check anything: one tap and you are through.

The sign-up

The sign-up is headed "Create your free account" and says "Free to start. No credit card needed". It offers Continue with Google, or an e-mail address and a Continue button. E-mail sign-up is passwordless.

Passwordless is fine by me. It means one less password in the pile, and a login link in the inbox is harder to guess than most of the passwords people pick. I'd still use a plain e-mail over Google here.

A companion app does not need to share an account with my work calendar and my client folders.

Usernames are auto-generated, so the public name on the account is not one you pick. I count that as a small privacy plus. Nobody types their real name into a public profile by accident if the site picks the name for them.

The first chat

The first chat opens a modal titled "Tell us about yourself – This helps the AI personalize your experience". It asks for a nickname and a gender, with Male, Female and Other as the choices. A line underneath says "You can change this at any time in the Profile tab".

The Profile page holds the Dreamcoins balance, Subscription, Redeem Code, a referral box, Preferences & notifications, Language, a Discord connection, Support & Feedback, Legal, Account Management and Sign Out. That is where the nickname lives afterwards, and also the coin balance, the cancel button and the content settings.

So the front door is quick: pick an interest, confirm your age with a tap, enter an e-mail, answer two questions, and you are talking. I'd slow that down on purpose. Open the Profile page and the pricing page before the first chat, not after the first top-up.

Explore is the home page, and it sorts by "Popular · Month". Its filters are Female, Any Style and Any Age. Tabs lead to Packs, marked NEW, and to Comics and Group Chats.

The tag chips mix RPG, Fantasy, Dark Themes, Goth, Monster, Slow Burn, Romantic and Royalty with body-type, hair-colour and dominance tags, plus a few age- and family-framed tags that the content settings section deals with. Character cards show stated ages from 19 to 39 and chat counts of up to 1.7M. The site also has games and romantasy pages.

There are millions of community characters, and browsing them felt like channel surfing at 1 a.m. between renders. Most of it was forgettable, the way most channels are. Then I found a grumpy retired ski-lift operator who was better company than half my group chats, which says more about my group chats than it does about the app.

The game-master corner

The part of the library with the most craft in it is the RPG corner. It has a strong game-master creator scene: many RPG bots with HUDs, stat trackers, #commands, save codes and permadeath, with REION, Soulbound, Aurenhal and Streets RPG as examples.

I respect that work. Somebody built a save system inside a chat window, which is the kind of stubborn effort I'd expect from people who colour-grade B-roll nobody will notice. These bots are closer to a tabletop campaign than to a companion.

My advice is to treat the library like a flea market. Walk the aisles once with no plan, keep the one stall that surprises you, and ignore the rest. The lift operator was my one surprise, and one was enough.

The character generator lets users set a companion's personality, appearance and voice. That covers what matters: who she is, what she looks like, and how she sounds. The voice part matters more than it seems, because the voice is what you hear on calls, and the media section explains why that is the weak spot.

What made the 40 minutes go fast was having a clear brief. A rally driver with opinions about the weather gives the bot something to hold on to. A vague brief gets you a vague companion, the same way a client who says "make it pop" gets a video that pops at nothing in particular.

If you only try one thing on OurDream AI, make it the builder. It is where the app feels most like a tool and least like a vending machine. Give your character one strong opinion and one concrete job from the past, and the conversation has somewhere to go.

That is about how my D&D players handle a shopping trip, so I felt oddly at home. Nobody bought anything, nobody changed their mind, and everyone had a strong view about the weather.

As entertainment it worked. As a conversation I was part of, it did not, because I had become the audience in my own chat.

Who gets to talk

In a group chat, one character is made to respond by clicking its portrait or @-mentioning it. That is the steering wheel worth using early. Left alone, two opinionated characters will talk past each other until the coins or your patience run out, and on this app both are finite.

I think group chat is the most honest demo of what these bots are good at. They are great at having a take and sticking to it, and much weaker at noticing that a third person in the room might want a turn. Clicking a portrait fixes that, but it turns you from a guest into a stage manager.

Replies were fast: about 150–200 words arrived in under 10 seconds. Reply quality was good, with grounded fantasy prose. The bot introduced an innkeeper named "Hagen" and a shepherd who saw "a shadow with wings circling the peak".

It described three-toed clawed tracks "wide as my spread hand", and it added a sceptical wiry man in the corner. It did not speak for the user.

The manual at the top is the price of that quality. A long setup guide before the first line of story is a big ask for a casual visitor, and a small one for anyone who has run a tabletop campaign.

That last point is the one I'd weigh most. A lot of roleplay bots write your lines for you, which is like an editor who re-cuts the client's favourite shot without asking. This one set a scene with a hook, a sceptic and a gap for the player to step into, and then stopped.

That restraint is rarer than good prose, and worth more.

The controls around the chat

The standard OurDream AI chat models are Balanced, the default, described as "Fast, smart and spicy", Muse, "Vivid, varied prose", and Eclipse, "Sharp on long scenes". Each reply has TTS through a speaker icon, plus copy, edit, regenerate, continue and a "…" menu.

The chat's right panel holds New Session, View Media, Members for group chats, Model, Writing Style, Voice, Memory, Persona, Preferences and History. That is a full mixing desk for a chat window. I'd leave most of it alone for the first evening and touch only Model and Persona.

The model names read like paint colours, and the taglines do most of the explaining. I'd start on Balanced, try Muse for a descriptive scene, and keep Eclipse for the long campaigns it is pitched at.

If you want roleplay with a clear lead and a supporting cast, OurDream AI does it well as long as you keep a hand on the portraits. If you want a quiet chat after a long day, pick one character, keep the group rooms for weekends, and accept that the best line of the night may not be addressed to you.

On balance, conversation is the part of OurDream AI that has improved in my eyes since my winter. The camera was always the star; the writing now keeps up with it.

A hospital promo bid is not the kind of detail I expected a chatbot to file away. Having it come back in the right tone was the moment the app stopped feeling like a slot machine with a face. My job is partly keeping track of continuity, so being out-remembered by a rally driver I made up was humbling.

The homepage FAQ says the companion "uses advanced memory systems" and that "It remembers past chats and grows with you over time." Most apps say something like this, and most of them mean it the way a gym means "results". In my case the bid callback was real, so I give the claim more credit than the usual copy deserves.

Today's quick check

A short memory check in September came back mixed. Asked out of character, the bot answered in character instead, as the innkeeper. It did recall the profession given earlier in the chat, opening with "You said". The check counts as half a pass.

Paying for more memory

Deluxe includes 3x chat memory. I can't tell you what three times the memory feels like, because the page does not say three times what. I read it as a longer window of past chat, which is useful, and as a lever to move people to the plan that costs three times as much.

My advice: if memory is what you care about most, Premium already does the job for a single companion. Pay for Deluxe only for long stories with many details, and only after a month where Premium forgot something that mattered to you.

The homepage leads with "Opening Scenes", video intros with "Watch Now" buttons, so the site knows what its best trick is. A reviewer called the clips short, coin-hungry and uneven in quality, but a surprising feature most rivals lack. I'd sign every word of that, including the part about coins.

The generator and the photos

The generator offers Image or Video, Create Image or Edit Image, a required Character preset plus optional Pose, Outfit and Scene presets, a Custom Prompt for Premium, a batch size of 2, and Settings. That is a sensible layout: pick the face first, then dress the set.

Then the photos. I asked for a picture of Renata "at a rally in the mud" and got her in a spotless white jumpsuit next to a sedan with five wheels. I edit video for a living, and I still counted twice.

A reviewer found the images look AI-generated rather than photorealistic, while scene adherence and face consistency across images are strong. My five-wheeled sedan says scene adherence has off days, but I'd rather see a steady face and an odd car than the reverse. Face drift between images breaks the spell, and the reviewer says this app mostly avoids it.

Voice and calls

The chat's right panel has a phone icon for voice calls. The voice sounds noticeably synthetic next to the video, like a 2012 text-to-speech demo reading a love letter. I ended up texting most of the time, which is an odd result for a feature sold as the intimate one.

A reviewer found that voice calls drain coins fast, including images generated during the call without asking, and rated the app 3.6/5 with the coin meter as the main drag. The part that costs the most per minute is the part that sounds the least human.

My take on the media

My ranking is simple: video first, images second, voice a distant third. If you pay for one month, spend your coins on a couple of clips and a few pictures, and treat calls as a demo rather than a habit.

What free is in September 2026

Today the showroom is smaller. Creating an account and browsing are free, and the button says "Join Free". A free account starts with 55 Dreamcoins as its free allowance, with no monthly refill in sight.

Free chat spends them at 1 coin per message on the default model.

The in-chat banner reads "55 dreamcoins left – Unlock unlimited chat + 1,000 – Upgrade". The free plan panel says "Upgrade to get unlimited messages and more coins." With 55 free coins, a free user gets about 55 messages in total, and then has to pay.

So the then-and-now is stark. I had about 50 messages a day in my winter; on 24 September 2026 free is about 55 messages, full stop. That is not a smaller free tier, it is a different idea of one.

A daily allowance invites you back; a one-off jar invites you to pay.

What sits behind the paywall

Messages consume coins. The custom prompt in the image generator is marked "PREMIUM". Video, voice minutes and unlimited chat need a plan.

Images are the one camera feature a free balance can still touch, at coin prices the cost section lists. I read that list as the real product map: text is the sample, and everything with a face or a voice is the sale.

What other reviewers report

One reviewer had 10 dreamcoins to chat with before even signing up, at 1 coin per message. The same reviewer reports that on a free account each character's chat locks after 6 messages whatever the coin balance, with a "limit reached for this chat" notice. The September check went only a few messages deep, so it neither confirms nor rules out that lock.

A reviewer who looked at the app in 2025 and again in 2026 found the free tier much thinner or effectively gone in the retest. That matches my then-and-now, and it tells me the shrinking was a direction, not an accident.

And if it does, go in knowing the free coins are gone for good once they are spent.

The euro prices sit a touch lower on the page, which says more about rounding for a local market than about a real discount.

What Premium costs and adds

Premium is labelled "MOST POPULAR". In euros it costs €18.99 a month on monthly billing, or €9.50 a month on annual billing, billed €113.99 a year. The annual Premium card says "Save €113.00/yr + 1000 bonus coins first month".

Premium includes 1000 DreamCoins every month. It lists 20 minutes of voice calls and 10 videos. It also lists unlimited messages and unlimited audio messages.

Image and video generation are included, voice calls are included, and Premium lets you publish your characters.

Read that list carefully, because it is written like a menu where every dish is free. It is not. The 20 minutes of calls and the 10 videos are not extras on top of the coins; they are what the same 1,000 coins buy if you spend them all in one place.

The cost section below does that math line by line.

The parts of Premium that are unlimited are text chat and audio messages. That is the real value of the plan: you stop paying per message. Everything with a camera or a live voice still runs on coins.

What Deluxe costs and adds

Deluxe is labelled "BEST VALUE". It costs €56.99 a month on monthly billing, or €28.50 a month on annual billing, billed €341.99 a year. The annual Deluxe card says "Save €341.00/yr + 5000 bonus coins first month".

On Explore, an upsell card pops up bottom-right: "GO DELUXE – Unlock 5000 Dream Coins, 1000 images, 100 minutes of voice, and 50 videos". That is the cleverest sentence on the site. It reads like a shopping bag holding all four things at once, when in practice it is one pot of coins that can become roughly one of them.

I'd call that a stretch rather than a lie, the way a used-car ad that says "up to" is technically honest.

The annual switch

The billing toggle is labelled "Annual – Save 50% + free coins". The math checks out: the annual month is half the monthly one in both currencies, so this is one of the few discount badges in the category that is not rounding up.

On the annual plan the charge comes once every 12 months, not monthly: "You are NOT charged every month. Next charge: 12 months from now."

I like that the help text says it in capital letters. That one detail decides whether a yearly plan feels like a deal or an ambush.

Paying

For an EU visitor, a "More Payment Methods" option offers card, Multibanco, MB Way, MyBank and crypto. So local EU payment methods are accepted alongside crypto. PayPal is not accepted.

Is the step up worth it?

From free to Premium: yes, if you will use the app for more than a weekend. On the free plan messages cost Dreamcoins, 1 per message on the default model, and Premium makes them unlimited. That alone is the whole case for paying.

From Premium to Deluxe: only if you already know you are a heavy media user. Five times the coins for three times the price is a better rate, and the premium chat models are a real extra. On paper, Deluxe is the cheaper coin, the same way the family-size box is the cheaper cereal.

But the step only pays off if you would otherwise be topping up Premium every month, and if you are doing that, the problem might be the habit rather than the plan.

On billing period, my rule is the gym-membership rule. Go monthly for the first month, and switch to annual only once you know you will still be there in month three. Half price is only a discount if you use it.

The plan cards list the calls and the videos side by side, and a tired brain at the sink reads a side-by-side list as a bundle.

The meter on the free plan

On the free plan every message costs 1 Dreamcoin; the banner went from 55 to 52 after 3 messages. It counted down 55, 54, 53, 52 as the messages went out. It is honest, in the way a taxi meter is honest: you can always see it, and it only goes one way.

So "unlimited messages" is true on the default model, and a meter starts the moment you switch to the smarter ones.

The image generator makes 2 images for 10 coins, which is 5 coins per image. Its button reads "Generate 10". Auto-generated images cost 5 dreamcoins each.

Enhancing an image costs 10 dreamcoins, and editing one costs 10 with the Spark model or 20 with the Eclipse model.

Video, audio and calls

Standard video generation costs 100 dreamcoins per 5 seconds, up to 1,200 dreamcoins for 60 seconds. Enhancing a video costs 50 dreamcoins per 5 seconds.

Added audio on a video costs 20 dreamcoins per second. Voice calls cost 50 dreamcoins per minute.

Put side by side, voice on a video is billed far harder than a whole minute of talking on a call. At standard rates the 10 videos in Premium are short clips, and a single 60-second video costs more than a whole month of Premium coins.

Unlocking a character's community pack of images and videos costs 250, 750 or 1,000 dreamcoins, depending on its size. The biggest pack costs a full month of Premium coins for pictures somebody else made, which is the flea-market price of a framed print.

The add-on prices have moved since. I paid about $10 a top-up in my time; on 23 September 2026 the smallest add-on was 1,000 DreamCoins for $11.99. Extra coins are added to an order with a slider set to 0, 1,000, 5,000 or 20,000.

The bigger bundles were 5,000 DreamCoins for $49.99 and 20,000 DreamCoins for $159.99.

What happens to leftover coins

Plan coins refresh on each billing date, and purchased coins stay until they are spent. The help center says unused dreamcoins do not reset monthly and carry over.

Those lines do not sit well together. "Refresh" and "carry over" describe two different policies, and neither page says which one wins for plan coins. I'd plan for the stricter reading: spend plan coins inside the month, and treat only purchased coins as money in the bank.

My honest advice on cost is to set a coin budget per week, the way you would set a bar tab. Once the video and voice meter start running, the plan price is the cover charge, not the bill.

The countdown offer

A reviewer saw a "limited offer" of $17.99 for the first month of Premium monthly, instead of $19.99, with the old price struck through under a countdown. The same reviewer saw Premium annual at $8.99 a month for the first year under the limited offer, then $9.99.

My rule for countdown timers is simple: assume the timer resets. A two-dollar first-month discount is nice, but it is not a reason to decide tonight. If the offer shows up, take it only if you were going to buy anyway.

Promo codes

Promo codes go in at Profile > Redeem Code, the place to redeem Dream Coins on OurDream AI or a subscription. It says "Have a promo code? Redeem it for a subscription or dreamcoins!". No working OurDream AI codes were found on the site.

An empty box with a hopeful headline is common in this category, and I'd ignore any page that promises you a secret code for it.

Referrals

The referral box reads "GIVE 1,000 · GET 1,000 – Share the dream, earn coins." The small print says "You both get 1,000 when they subscribe." and "Hit 10 referrals and unlock a 10,000 bonus." There is an Invite button that copies a link, a "Have a referral code?" link and a 10-referral progress bar on the dashboard.

The reward only pays out when the friend subscribes. I'd call it a fair referral deal, and also a reminder of what kind of app this is. Most people I know would not want to be the friend who recommended it at dinner.

Streaks are how an app turns a hobby into a chore.

My take on the whole list: the annual first-month coins are the only bonus worth planning around. Everything else is a nudge to spend a little sooner than you meant to.

I respect the directness. There is no pretending that the adult side is an accident of a clever model. The rules say what is allowed and who it is for, in plain words, and that beats the coy apps that pretend otherwise.

The age gate

The minimum age is 18: "If you are under 18 years old, do not sign up". The sign-up text says: "By continuing, you confirm that you are over 18 years old..." No further age check beyond the adults-only gate was requested of an EU visitor on 24 September 2026.

Where law, payment partners or internal risk checks require it, extra age or identity checks may apply depending on region, such as a government ID check or facial or biometric checks. I read "may apply" as "will apply where a regulator forces it", not as a check every user meets. In practice the front door is a tap, and the site knows it.

The shop window

After the age gate, the public homepage shows graphic character descriptions to logged-out visitors. The top of the Explore feed is fully sexual, with unclothed AI imagery in the thumbnails. This page carries no screenshot of that feed for that reason.

The home tag bar includes a tag named after an age group and a campus tag, next to tags built on inexperience, bullying and step-family themes. The step-family tag's synonym list reaches into relations a generation or two down, step and adopted alike. One of those age-framed tags conflicts with the platform's own rules on minors, and it sits on the public front page.

The settings themselves

Preferences > Content preferences has Video looping, Active messaging, Hide activity, Disable videos on Explore, Blocked tags and Blocked creators. Active messaging, "Let characters message you first", is switched on.

Three tag groups are blocked by default: "Cheating, Open Relationship, and Complex Relationships and their tags are blocked in discovery until you change this list". So the discovery defaults hide cheating and NTR. Users can block any of dozens of tag groups, from rough and dark themes to step-family ones.

The system is granular, with synonym groups behind each tag.

On e-mail, Community and creator news, Product updates and Special offers were all off, under "Unsubscribed from all". In-app notifications exist for video generation, followers, likes, coin donations, and new characters or packs.

My view

The tools are better than the shop window. The block list is one of the most careful I'd expect to find in this category, and I'd switch Active messaging off on day one. But the front page walks right up to the platform's own lines for clicks, and that gap is what stops me recommending OurDream AI with a clean conscience.

That is a tidy hub, and tidier than most in this category. The dates matter too: a policy with a recent date is at least a policy somebody is still reading.

Renewal and refunds

The subscription renews each billing period until it is cancelled, and a cancelled plan runs to the end of the period already paid for. That is the normal arrangement, and cancelling early costs you nothing extra.

Refunds are only for services that are defective or "significantly different from its description", and they must be claimed within 14 days of purchase. The Refund Policy also offers a 14-day "Quality Guarantee", under which support may give a credit, a replacement, a fix or a refund, case by case. I read "case by case" as "not a guarantee".

EEA, UK and Swiss users have a 14-day right of withdrawal, and they lose it if they use the service immediately after purchase. On a coin app, "use" starts with the first message, so that right is mostly on paper. I'd treat the withdrawal right as a safety net for a purchase you have not touched yet, not as a trial period.

Unused parts of a billing period are generally not refunded. The help center says no refund is given once more than 25% of a product has been used.

Your content, your data, your chats

Users grant Dream Studio a "nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid up, transferable, sublicensable, perpetual, irrevocable license" to their content. That licence includes commercial use. In plain English, the characters and chats you make can be used and passed on by the company, forever, without paying you.

For a character you built for your own evenings, that is a strange thing to sign away.

AI training is not explicitly addressed in the Terms of Service. The Privacy Policy does address it: chat communications, posted images and shared characters may be used to train its AI models. The homepage FAQ, meanwhile, says chats are end-to-end encrypted and unreadable even by the operator.

A chat nobody can read is a chat nobody can train on, so I believe the version the lawyers wrote.

Data is kept as long as needed for its purposes, then may be deleted or aggregated, and some is kept for legal obligations and disputes. The site states that all visual content is AI-generated and depicts no real people.

Disputes and closure

The terms are governed by Delaware law. They require binding arbitration and waive jury trials and class actions. The company may suspend or terminate accounts "for any reason" at its sole discretion.

A reviewer scored privacy and discretion 9/10, above the category average. I'd score the discretion high too, because the billing is quiet, and the data side lower. Write to this app as if a stranger might read it one day, and pay by card if refunds matter to you.

Check spam before assuming the sign-up failed, and mark the sender as safe, since billing notices come from the same place.

The first chat forces the onboarding modal for a nickname and a gender. It is two fields, and I don't mind it, but "forced" is the right word for a form that stands between you and the chat you clicked.

Getting to the prices

The old /pricing URL now returns "Page Not Found". It is a 404, and pricing lives at /upgrade. Anyone following an old link or an old review lands on nothing, which is a small thing that feels like a bigger one when you are trying to check what you will pay.

A price page that moves without a redirect looks careless, even if the move itself is harmless.

The GO DELUXE upsell card overlays the feed. Free chat silently burns the small coin balance, which is only visible in the chat banner. I think the banner deserved a place on the main screen too.

A meter you only see while it runs is still a meter.

Settings that do not stick

With the UI language set to "Bahasa Indonesia" in Profile > Language, the site still rendered in English. A language menu that does not change the language is the software version of a lift button that lights up and goes nowhere.

Where you open it

The adult imagery on Explore and in the generator gallery makes the site unsuitable to open in public. Not on the bus, not on a client's Wi-Fi, and not on a laptop hooked up to a projector. I say that as someone whose laptop is often hooked up to a projector.

None of these is a dealbreaker on its own. Together they add up to a site that is quick to enter and slow to trust.

I'd add one more fit from my own winter: someone curious about lip-synced character video who can hold a firm coin budget. For that person, one paid month is a fair price for seeing where this category is heading, as long as the month ends on purpose.

It is not for free users: roughly 55 messages' worth of coins arrive, and then a paywall. Images cost 5 coins each on top. That is fine for a taste and useless as a way of living on the app.

It is not for anyone uncomfortable with an adult front page, taboo step-family or age-framed content, or Active messaging switched on by default, where bots message you first.

It is not for privacy-minded users either, given the perpetual licence over content and Delaware arbitration. Those are the two clauses I'd read twice before paying. And it is not for refund seekers: the refund policy is narrow, and crypto is final.

The middle ground is a curious adult with a set budget. Everyone else has cheaper and quieter options. I'd rather send someone to a calmer app for a season than watch them fund this one by accident.

The timing helped. New Year's is when everyone audits their subscriptions, and a companion app is an easy line to cross off.

How cancelling works

The upgrade page promises "Safe & discreet, cancel anytime". To cancel, go to ourdream.ai/profile, click "Cancel subscription" and confirm. That is a short path, and I give credit for it: no retention bot and no survey you have to finish first.

After cancelling, the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Unused dreamcoins stay usable until the billing period ends. Cancelling brings no automatic refund.

After unsubscribing, generated images and videos become blurred until you subscribe again. That is the part that stings. Your own pictures of your own character go behind frosted glass, which is a clever way to make leaving feel like a loss, so save what matters before the plan ends.

Refunds and deleting the account

Refunds are requested via [email protected]. The help center also routes refund requests through the "Request Help" button on the profile page. Requests are processed within 7 business days, and approved card refunds take 5-10 business days to arrive.

Account deletion is permanent and separate from cancelling. It removes generations, unpublished characters, chat history and unused dreamcoins, and it ends access even with subscription time left, with no refund. So the order matters: cancel first, use up what you paid for, save what you want to keep, and only then delete.

Either name is dull enough to sit between a hardware store and a pizza place without raising an eyebrow, which is the whole idea. Discretion is the one promise on this site that the paperwork backs up.

Before you pay

I'd do three things before paying. Screenshot the price you signed up at, note the date the plan renews, and decide your coin budget for the month in advance.

I'd also pick the payment method with the exit in mind. A card leaves room for a refund request, and crypto does not, so the quiet option is also the final one. Then, if you want out, the profile page is one click away, and nothing on the way tries to talk you out of it.

Set the chat up before you talk. The model picker works per chat, "This Chat" or "Default", with Standard and Thinking tiers. Personas, Writing Style, Voice and Memory are set per chat too.

I'd leave the model on the default until you know what a Thinking reply is worth to you, because on this app the smarter models run on coins.

If you pick an RPG bot, read its manual. Bots ship with their own command systems, such as #status, #help and SAVE codes. Two minutes with #help saves an evening of guessing, the same way reading a client's brief saves a re-edit.

A language selector offers many UI languages. Just don't count on the switch to translate everything, as the friction section explains.

Treat coins like cash. Decide a budget per week, and spend it on video first, images second and calls last. Write the budget down somewhere outside the app, because the banner inside it is on the site's side.

Conversation quality comes out good. The characters hold their personality, today's replies are fast and well written, and the bot leaves your lines to you.

The free tier comes out weak. It was a fair test drive in my time, and today it is a small coin balance that empties one message at a time.

Value for money is weak too. The plan price looks reasonable until the coins run out, and on this app they run out on purpose.

Images and voice land in the middle. The video is the best trick in the category, the images are good with odd lapses, and the voice lets the whole thing down.

Privacy and terms are mixed. Billing is quiet, but the encryption claim and the training clause do not agree, the content licence never ends, and refunds are thin.

Cancelling and billing come out good, because the exit is short and the statement is dull. Content settings come out weak: the block tools are careful, but the front page pushes against the site's own rules.

Where OurDream AI wins is the camera. A lip-synced clip of a character you built yourself is the one thing on this list that made a phone feel like it was looking back, and the builder behind it is the most fun of the lot.

Nomi AI is the one on that list with the longest run in my notes, and that tells you what I value over the long haul: a steady companion that does not bill by the minute. OurDream AI is the opposite bet, a bright short month.
