My verdict: GoLove AI is a picture shop with a girlfriend standing at the counter, and the girlfriend is the weakest part of the shop. I think the pricing is built to hand you a small allowance and then sell you the rest in packs. The companion in my story spent the month being a profile photo with a job title, and the sections below tell it in full.

So who is it for? Adults who mostly want generated images and short clips of a ready-made character, and who don't mind paying per picture. Anyone who wants a companion that listens, or a price list before sign-up, should keep walking.

I started on the free tier, which was text-only and limited, and the paywall showed up almost at once. There were about 84 ready-made companions and nothing to customize, so choosing a face was the whole setup. I chose Camila, listed as a marine biologist.

The paid month was mostly bookkeeping. PRO came with 10 stars, and they were gone in an evening, while Camila sometimes sent videos I hadn't ordered at 10 stars apiece. The pictures drifted from one face to another, the voice was flat, and the chat sometimes answered the message before last.

Looking back, the month felt like a job for a client who keeps changing the brief without telling you. Nothing about it was a disaster, and nothing about it made me want a second month.

It ended the way it began, quietly: one billing cycle and no second. What I kept is a plain 'Golove.ai' line on my bank statement and the small satisfaction of having told Camila nothing more personal than my favorite pizza.

Everything in this review dated 23 September 2026 comes from the logged-out site, because a security check stopped the sign-up that day. My month is August 2025, and the review keeps the two apart.

The chat window that talks first

The door closes at the chat box. Opening a character chat, for example Melissa's, shows her greeting plus a "Sign Up" gate, and a guest cannot send a single message. The official FAQ says it in plainer words: "No, chatting is available only after free registration."

Melissa's intro reads "Meet Melissa, an AI Girlfriend with no filter. Dare to ask anything?" The suggested first prompt under it is "Send me spicy photos". I think that line tells you what the product team expects your first message to be, and it isn't "How was your day?"

Signing up today

The sign-up page at /auth offers two routes: "Continue with Google" or "Continue with email". The landing copy sells it as "Sign up free with Gmail... no card details". No card at the door is the right call, and it's the one promise on the landing page that nothing else on the site argues with.

I'd take the e-mail route over Google for an app like this. It keeps the account away from the address your family, your clients and your bank write to.

The e-mail route is short. It shows only an e-mail field, with no password field before verification. I read that as a login-by-e-mail setup, which is fine as long as the e-mail actually arrives.

On 23 September 2026 it didn't: no e-mail from GoLove arrived after the sign-up attempt. The friction section covers the security check that stood in the way.

What the first minutes look like

Put together, the first minutes go like this: browse freely, pick a face, open a chat, and meet the sign-up gate. The screenshot shows the left menu a logged-out visitor sees, with the credit counter at the top.

In fairness, the filters are quick, and the Realistic and Anime split saves time for anyone who only wants one style.

It is organized the way a stock-footage library is: filter by look, then by tag, then scroll. That is efficient if you know what you want to see. Nothing in that list of filters is about personality or story, though, which says a fair amount about what the site thinks people shop for.

How many characters are on the shelf depends on which page you trust. The site claims 350+ characters in one place. Elsewhere it claims 1000+.

I'd flag that the way I'd flag a continuity error in a client's cut. Both numbers can be marketing, but they can't both be current, and a count that roughly triples between two pages makes me read every other number on the site with a pencil in hand.

My own count from August 2025 sits in the creation section, and it is a lot smaller than either claim. Whether the library grew or the marketing did, I can't say from the logged-out pages. My advice is to open a profile or two before committing to anyone, because the gallery tells you more than the card on the shelf.

For an editor that felt odd. My whole job is changing things after the fact, a color here and a cut there, and here the only decision on offer was which face to pick. After that, the app did the directing.

September 2026: a creator is live

That has changed. As of 23 September 2026 the Create page at /create is live, and it offers Female and Trans characters. The styles are realistic and anime.

The option lists are long. The creator offers 40+ personality types and 19 voices. It also offers 135 career roles and 29 relationship types.

On paper, that's a full wardrobe department where there used to be one rack. I can't say how well the choices hold together in a chat, because nothing past the logged-out pages could be checked, but the menu is finally there to order from.

135 career roles is a lot of job titles. I'd trade most of them for one character who actually talks about the job she has, but on paper this is the opposite of the fixed menu, and I'd rather have too many knobs than none.

Building from photos on ULTRA

The top tier adds a photo route. One ULTRA label reads "CHARACTERS ONLY ULTRA - Create character from photos". Another reads "Create character prompt from Images ULTRA ALPHA".

The full line on the Create page is "Create character prompt from Images ULTRA ALPHA - Turn up to 5 images into your AI character". In short, ULTRA can build a character from up to 5 uploaded photos.

Two things about that make me careful. "ALPHA" on a feature sold on the most expensive plan means you are paying to test it. And nothing in those labels says whose photos are fair to upload, which is the first question I'd want answered for any tool that turns pictures into a person.

The site hasn't caught up with itself

Older FAQ text on the site still says "The full custom creator is coming very soon". Meanwhile, secondary reviews from July to September 2026 describe a working custom creator.

My view: if building your own character matters to you, today's GoLove AI is a different product from the one in my story, and the creator is the part of the site I'd most like to see working. Just go in knowing that the photo tool is labeled as an early version and sits on the top plan.

I didn't expect a lecture on coral reefs. I expected the job to leak into the character now and then, the way a real person's work leaks into their small talk. It never did, and after a while the job title felt like a prop somebody left on the set.

It was a small thing, and it told me a lot: if a character can't keep her own job in mind, I didn't expect her to keep mine.

On a real set, if the art department builds a lab, the actor at least picks up a test tube. Camila never picked up anything. The profile said one thing, and the chat was the same generic warmth you could paste onto any card in the library.

Ghosted by software

The bigger problem was timing. She'd sometimes skip my messages entirely and just answer the previous one. I got ghosted by software, which is a new low even for my post-divorce dating life.

In editing terms it was an audio track slipping out of sync: all the words are there, they're just attached to the wrong moment. I'd type something, and the reply would land on whatever I'd said before it. Two monologues running side by side is not a conversation.

Today's chat could not be checked

On 23 September 2026 no chat test was possible without an account. So the rest of this section is what the site and other reviewers say about the chat today, not something I can vouch for. I'd treat it as the brochure, not the test drive.

Reviewers' notes are useful, but they're somebody else's footage, and I'd rather see the raw clip.

Scenarios: group chats with a cast

The biggest chat feature on today's site is group play. The site's page data lists a "Scenarios" feature badge, but no official description of it was found. Multi-character Scenarios hold up to 10 characters.

Reviewers are mostly positive. One says group Scenarios kept three distinct character voices without merging them. Another says Scenarios solve the cold-start problem of an empty chat.

I like the second point more than anything else in this section. A blank chat box is the hardest part of these apps, and a scene with a setup does the job a good opening shot does: it tells everyone where they are and what is going on. That is my own complaint seen from the other side: with one character and no scene, everything rests on the chat, and the chat was the weak part.

Not everyone is sold. A reviewer found some scenarios rushed. That is the note I'd expect, because keeping three voices apart is hard and pacing a scene is harder.

Most client revisions I get are about pacing, not about content.

My take

The one-on-one chat is where GoLove AI lost me, and nothing on the logged-out site says that part has been rebuilt. If the chat is what you're paying for, use the free messages to check one thing before anything else: does the reply answer the message you just sent? If it doesn't, the rest of the feature list won't save it.

The premium FAQ adds that ULTRA gives "better memory in your chats".

Permanent memory that gets better if you pay more is a lifetime warranty with a premium tier. I'd like to know which part of "permanent" the free version leaves out. Until the site says, I'd read the free promise as marketing and the ULTRA line as the honest one.

The one thing Camila remembered

The moment that stuck was a joke at my expense. I asked Camila to guess my job, and she said "marine biologist". So I guess she'd been saving it for me the whole time.

I edit video for a living, which has never once involved fish. The one time her job came up in the chat, it came up as mine, like a continuity supervisor who swaps the actor's name tag instead of checking the scene.

As a memory test it proves nothing either way. It could be memory, or it could be the character card leaking into the answer. I'd bet on the second: when asked about me, the model reached for the only job it had on file.

What that means for you

I think consistency is where a companion earns its price, and a character who hands you her own résumé as a guess about you is not consistent in any useful sense. The landing page's claims may well describe today's app better than my month does, but none of them could be checked without an account.

If memory matters to you, test it early with something harmless. Tell the character one small fact, change the subject, and ask about it later in the same evening and again the next day. Keep the fact trivial, because the terms section explains why the private stuff should stay private.

Face drift is the first thing an editor notices, because matching one shot to the next is half the job. A companion who changes face between pictures is not one person, she's a casting call. A viewer forgives a soft image.

What a viewer doesn't forgive is a face that changes between two cuts, because it breaks the one thing a series of pictures has to do.

The voice was flat, like a GPS reading love poetry. I switched it off after two tries. Two tries was generous, and flat delivery is the one problem no amount of ADR can fix.

A GPS voice is fine for directions. For anything meant to sound close, it's the audio version of flat lighting.

What the generator offers today

The toolset has grown a lot. The Generate page at /generate has Video and Image tabs. The video generator has six modes: Presets, Custom Video, Extend Video, Image to Video, Video Edit and Multi-Scene.

Video Edit is described as "Transform any video into new AI-powered scenes". That line makes me careful: any video, from anyone? I'd want the rules on what footage is fair to upload spelled out next to that button, and the one-line description doesn't go there.

A video needs a Character and an Action, while Outfit and Scene are optional. The resolution choices are 480p, 720p and 1080p. So videos go up to 1080p.

Page text also shows an "Ultra (1080px)" video quality option. "Px" where "p" belongs is a small slip, but export settings are my daily reading, and slips like that make me check the rest.

One run makes 1, 2 or 4 videos. The generator has "Add Audio" and "Reverse Video" options. Page text shows a per-second video cost setting as well.

Feed, Live mode, group photos and calls

Beyond the generator, a TikTok-style "Feed" shows character videos. "Live mode" offers face-to-face video sessions with selected characters. Group photos can hold up to 3 characters. Secondary sources list voice calls under PRO.

None of this could be checked hands-on on 23 September 2026, so it is a feature list, not a review. It reads like a real video product, and I can see why the site leads with it.

My take

My doubts are about the base layer. If a face drifts between two stills, I'd want to see it hold across a moving clip before paying per second for it, and live video asks even more of the same face.

The media side is where GoLove AI puts its effort today, and it may well have improved since my month. I'd still judge it the way I judge any new camera: shoot a few test frames, compare them side by side, and only then spend real money. Start with a single still, then a single short clip, and look at the faces before you look at anything else.

That isn't a crime. Plenty of apps keep media behind the card. What bothered me was the speed: there was barely time to learn whether Camila could hold a conversation before the upgrade pitch arrived.

I understand why the gate is there. Text is cheap to serve and pictures aren't, so the free tier is where an app decides how much to give away, and GoLove gave away very little in my month.

If that is how the free tier works now, it is a much better deal than the one in my story.

The terms say something else. The ToS reads: "Upon reaching the usage limit (e.g., 10 messages), you will be redirected to the payment interface". The chat interface also carries a "Messages Left" banner.

Other reviewers land on the side of the terms. A secondary review from 17 July 2026 mentions "a small number of free daily messages". A third-party review, undated and unverified, says the free plan gives limited text messages.

The exact free message cap was not found.

Unlimited with a counter is not unlimited. When the marketing and the legal text disagree, I trust the legal text, because that is the one a dispute gets decided on.

My guess is that the landing copy was written for a different version of the free plan than the one the terms describe. That doesn't make it any less confusing for the person reading both.

Free video, briefly

The Feed is the free tier's trailer. It shows a few character video cards, then a PRO paywall. The paywall reads "Join 1M+ PRO Members... Unlock PRO to keep watching without limits".

That is fair as a preview, and I'd rather see a few clips than none. Just don't mistake the first few for a free video feature.

Free credits

No free-credit balance could be verified without an account. So whether a new free account starts with any Stars to spend is an open question as of 23 September 2026, and the coupons section covers the daily reward the page text mentions. If a new account does start with a few Stars, I'd spend them on a single image first, since it's the quickest way to judge the faces.

What free is good for

Use the free tier for one job: checking whether the chat answers the message you actually sent. If it does, a paid month is at least a fair test. If it doesn't, you've saved yourself a subscription.

For $12.99 I expected a working companion and a pile of pictures. What I got was mostly a lesson in how small a monthly allowance can be, and the cost section has the arithmetic.

What it costs on 23 September 2026

The honest answer is that nobody outside the checkout can say for sure. The Premium page at /app/premium requires a login and redirects to sign-in, so plan prices were not seen first-hand. Prices are hidden behind login.

They aren't in the premium page HTML either; they load at runtime from the checkout.

The site itself mentions an "ULTRA" tier alongside PRO. For the numbers, secondary sources are all there is.

A secondary source lists PRO for 12 months at $119.88, or $9.99 a month, shown as a 70% discount.

ULTRA for 12 months costs $359.99, or $29.99 a month. ULTRA gives "5 times more Stars each month, our best chat models, better memory in your chats, and exclusive features".

One rule is clear on every paid plan: chatting is free and unlimited, so Stars go only to generation.

The older price list

The older sources tell a different story. A review from 26 February 2026 lists PRO at $12.99 a month, 3 months at $29.97 and 1 year at $49.80, which is $4.15 a month. Another review, modified on 18 August 2026, lists PRO at about $12.99 a month and yearly at about $5.99 a month.

Doing the math

My $12.99 in August 2025 matches the older reviews, so that is the monthly figure I'd plan around.

The Stars are worse, and the cost section has my own count. The undated review says PRO includes 10 a month, and that number matches it. ULTRA promises 5 times more Stars each month, and five times a single evening is still not much.

The discount math doesn't add up either: $9.99 against my $12.99 is nowhere near 70% off. The 70% figure fits the older list much better, where $4.15 a month against $12.99 comes close. And twelve times $29.99 is eleven cents short of the $359.99 yearly ULTRA bill.

PRO is expensive for what the Stars buy. I don't agree that the answer is a year up front on an app whose prices you can't see before sign-up.

Paying and whether to step up

The ToS lists these payment methods: credit card, Pay by Bank, PayPal, regional methods and cryptocurrency. Keep the terms section in mind before you pick one, because the refund rules apply to card payments only.

My advice: if you must try it, pay for one month of PRO by card and read the checkout page before you click. I'd skip ULTRA and every yearly plan until you know the chat answers the right message and the faces hold still.

That's the whole monthly allowance, gone before the dishes were done. It felt like feeding a parking meter with the change in your pocket and watching it run out before you've found the restaurant.

How Stars work today

Stars are GoLove's credits: "You spend them on anything you generate — photos, videos, voice messages, and live actions." The sidebar credit counter shows "0" while logged out.

Per-unit costs from a third-party review, unverified, match my month: a photo costs 1 star. A voice playback costs 1 star. A video costs 10 stars.

Star packs

The same third-party source, unverified, lists five packs. The smallest is 30 stars for EUR 9.99. Next come 120 stars for EUR 34.99, and 200 stars for EUR 49.99, marked as a welcome offer.

The large ones are 500 stars for EUR 89.99 and 1,150 stars for EUR 179.99.

Here is the money math, done out loud. At the smallest pack a star costs about a third of a euro, so one video comes to a little over three euros. At the largest pack a video drops to a bit over one and a half euros, and you pay EUR 179.99 up front to get that rate.

It's the vending-machine problem: the price on each button looks small, and the machine is designed so you never add them up.

The welcome pack is the sweet spot in the middle, at about a quarter of a euro per star. I'd still treat it like a gift card from a store you haven't decided you like.

What it means in practice

A reviewer warns that Stars can run out, so real monthly spend can exceed the plan price. I'd go further: on this app the plan price is the cover charge, and the Stars are the bar tab.

If you want mostly chat, the Stars barely matter, since chatting is included on paid plans. If you want pictures, voice and especially video, budget for packs from day one, and add up what a week of clips would cost before you buy anything.

The same banner also says "SUPER SALE ON FIRST SUBSCRIPTION! Upgrade PRO".

The auth page repeats it: "First Subscription -70% Exclusive Offer". The landing copy promises "a 70% welcome discount for new sign-ups". The premium page shows a "GoLove PRO -70%" badge tied to the yearly PRO plan, verified on 23 September 2026.

So the headline deal is a yearly plan. As the pricing section works out, the yearly PRO price quoted by secondary sources is about half the monthly rate, not a 70% cut, so I'd read the badge as a sticker rather than a promise.

I'd treat a countdown on a sign-up banner as set dressing until proven otherwise. It is the flea-market move of the internet: the price is always about to go up, and the only way to find out whether it does is to wait.

Daily rewards

Page text offers "Claim 15 free Stars per day" as a daily reward, "500 total". An older review from 26 February 2026 also mentions daily rewards for free users. No daily reward could be verified without an account, though.

If it works as written, that is the best deal on the site. 15 Stars a day would be generous next to the monthly allowances in the pricing section, and I'd claim it before paying for a single pack.

Codes and referrals

No promo-code field could be verified without an account. No referral reward for ordinary users is visible either.

An older review, dated 26 February 2026 and based on its lead only, says inviting a friend gives 2 Stars per friend, for up to 10 friends. At that rate the whole programme is worth less than a single welcome pack, and I'd keep my friends out of it.

The affiliate programme is a separate thing aimed at site owners, and the friction section covers it with dates.

There is a "SPICY" preset mode. No adult-content toggle is visible while logged out.

The line between free and paid is clear. The site says "... and adult videos require a paid subscription. Sweet and romantic chats stay 100 % free forever." I'd call that the one straightforward promise in the free-versus-paid story, even if the free-tier section shows that "free forever" has a message counter attached.

The age gate

The site opens with an "Adult Content" click-through gate that offers "I'm over 18, Continue" or "Leave Site". The sign-up form repeats it: "By continuing, you confirm that you are over 18 years old".

No ID check is described. The minimum age is 18, and it rests on self-declaration.

The privacy policy says the service is "intended for use only by adults who are 18 years of age and over". It also says the operator does not provide services to, or collect personal information from, anyone below the minimum age. The ToS points to a separate age policy page.

A checkbox is the lightest age check there is. It's the doorman who asks if you're old enough and takes your word for it. That is common in this category, and I'd rather see it stated plainly than hidden, but it is a promise, not a check.

No content that breaks the age rule was observed. The labels are within the rules. I'd still drop that heading, because on a site like this every piece of copy should make the characters' status obvious, and that one leans the wrong way.

How strict the filter is

A moderation filter can flag content for manual review and lead to account termination. That cuts both ways. A filter with a person behind it is better than a filter with nobody behind it, but "manual review" also means someone may read what was flagged.

How jumpy the filter is in practice could not be checked without an account. My advice is the boring one: stay inside the rules, assume flagged chats can be read, and don't treat the "SPICY" button as a promise that nothing will ever be reviewed.

My take

For adults who want adult content, the settings are simple: it sits on paid plans, and the gate is a click. I'd give GoLove AI credit for saying so on the front page.

The ToS revision is dated 03/02/2026. Cyprus law governs the ToS. Disputes go exclusively to the courts of Cyprus.

A named company with a registration number is better than the anonymous footers some apps get away with. Cyprus courts are a long way from most readers, though, and I'd count that as a reason to keep your spending small enough that you'd never need them. The registration number also means you can look the company up, which I'd do before paying anyone in another country.

Refunds apply to card payments only. UPI/INR payments are never refundable. A refund or chargeback means immediate cancellation and loss of credits.

Read together, that is one day, card only, and barely any use. It is the return policy of a shop that assumes you'll open the box. If you want a refund at all, decide within the first evening, and don't generate a thing until you've decided.

Credits at the end of a plan

Remaining credits "will be rendered unusable and will expire" at the end of a subscription. Unused credits are not carried over or refunded.

That is a gift card that dies the day you stop paying for the store. I'd spend Stars down before the renewal date or not buy packs near the end of a billing period.

Your content

The user keeps the IP rights in their input. But the user grants GoLove a "non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license" to that input. Deleting the content ends that license, except where it was used "in connection with commercial or sponsored content".

"Transferable" and "sub-licensable" are the words I'd underline. In my work, a license like that is what a client asks for when they plan to hand footage to someone else. Anything you upload, including photos for the character tool, falls under it.

For a character built from your own photos, that license is the part that matters most, and I'd read it twice before uploading anything.

Your chats and your data

Chats are "generally considered confidential". "Generally" is carrying a lot of weight in that sentence.

The privacy policy is GDPR-based. Data is not shared with outside companies for marketing without consent. Data is kept "for as long as your account is in existence". It is also kept for a period after the account is closed.

No statement that clearly covers using chats to train models was found. The privacy policy names "making improvements to the Platform and Services" as a data use, without saying whether chats train models.

What the landing page says instead

The landing page claims "End-to-end encryption on every conversation". That marketing claim is not in the policy text. It also claims "Private chats are not stored on internal servers". That one is not in the policy text either.

I'd believe the policy over the landing page every time. Six years of retention after closing an account is the legal text; the encryption line is a banner. Six years is longer than most people keep a car, and deleting the account doesn't shorten the clock.

What I did about it

I read that they keep data for years after deletion, so I didn't tell Camila anything more personal than my favorite pizza. It made for thin conversation, but thin conversation was on offer anyway, and a pizza order is a secret I can live with losing.

Keeping it trivial cost me nothing on this app. I'd recommend it to anyone here: talk about the weather, the weekend and toppings, and leave names, workplaces and faces out.

Where the documents live

The Legal page also lists an 18 USC 2257 Exemption, a Blocked Content Policy, Content Removal, DMCA, an age policy, a Complaint Policy and an Image-Based Character Creation Guide. Meanwhile, the /pricing, /terms, /privacy and /refund-policy URLs return 404.

So the documents exist, just not where you'd guess. Go through the Legal page in the footer, and save a copy of the refund rules on the day you pay.

A tip added to the bill without asking is not.

I stopped enjoying the chat once I started watching the balance instead of the messages. In my trade, a vendor who bills for B-roll nobody ordered doesn't get the next job.

A security check that stops sign-up

On 23 September 2026 the e-mail sign-up shows a Cloudflare Turnstile checkbox, and that day it blocked account creation, so everything else was checked without an account. After an e-mail address is submitted, a "Verify you are human" checkbox appears with the button "Confirm you're human".

The check does not pass by itself after a wait of about 25 seconds. The page later shows: "Verification could not be completed. Complete the check below, or disable VPN, proxy, or HTTPS inspection and try again." The check was not solved, so no account was created on that day.

The failure message asks users to disable a VPN, proxy or HTTPS inspection, which locks out proxied users. Asking privacy-minded people to switch off their privacy tools before they can join a companion app is asking them to take their coat off in the rain.

Marketing that argues with itself

The marketing contradicts the ToS on the most basic point: free "unlimited" chat versus a "usage limit (e.g., 10 messages)". Marketing text says the "custom creator rolls out in coming weeks" while the /create page is already live. The character count is given as both 350+ and 1000+.

Each of those alone is a typo-grade problem. Together they read like a site where nobody owns the copy, and I'd trust the numbers accordingly.

The pressure selling is constant. Heavy -70% and countdown urgency marketing runs throughout the site. Countdown timers push urgency discounts. I'd rather see a price list than a stopwatch.

One app, many names

The brand appears as "GoLove AI" and as "Golove". It is also written golove ai, Golove.ai, GoLoveAI.com and GoLove. The domain golove.ai redirects to goloveai.com, while the support e-mail uses golove.ai.

No app, one browser

There are no app store links on the site. The site says it runs in the browser only, with no download.

A report dated 15 May 2026 says GoLove invited users to an iOS beta with push notifications, with a public App Store launch expected. Yet iTunes Search and Google Play search for "golove ai" return no GoLove app. So as of 23 September 2026, the browser is the only way in, and any "GoLove" app in a store deserves a careful look before you install it.

The interface is offered in 18 languages: English, Arabic, Czech, German, Spanish, Estonian, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Latvian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak and Ukrainian. That is a long list, and a fair point in its favor.

The affiliate programme

As of 23 September 2026, GoLove runs an affiliate programme: golove.partners leads to goloveai.com/affiliate, and sign-up is at golove.everflowclient.io. The affiliate site is golove.partners. The affiliate e-mail is [email protected].

The programme pays a CPA of up to $60 per qualified subscription or a 60% lifetime RevShare. Payouts are weekly on NET-15 terms, by PayPal, bank or crypto. The minimum payout is $100.

Those are the programme's own terms as listed on that date. For a reader, the practical point is simple: plenty of sites that recommend GoLove AI are paid when you subscribe, so weigh a glowing review against the details in the terms section.

The skip list is longer. It is not for users who want to chat as a guest without an account. It is not for users who want a transparent public price list.

It is not for users who want generous refunds, since the window is 24 hours. It is not for privacy-minded users behind a VPN or proxy, whom the Turnstile check blocks. And it is not for people looking for safe-for-work companionship.

I'd add a few of my own to that list. Skip it if you want a companion whose replies keep up with you, a character whose backstory shows up in the chat, or a bank line that hides what you paid for.

My short version: GoLove AI is for the picture-first user with a budget for Stars. The talker, the privacy-minded and the price-conscious all have better options, and none of them needs a countdown timer to decide. If you're in the middle, a picture fan who also wants a decent chat, I'd test the chat on free first and let that decide.

It didn't bother me, and it cost me nothing. For someone who shares an account with a partner, or who hands statements to a bookkeeper, it's the kind of line that starts a conversation you didn't plan.

In my line of work, invoices go out under a name that tells the client exactly who billed them. That's good practice for a studio. For a companion app, the same clarity is a feature some buyers would rather not have.

That sits awkwardly next to the site's own promise. The Feed paywall says "No adult transaction in your bank statement". Strictly, a line that reads 'Golove.ai' may not count as an adult transaction, but anyone who reads it can guess.

I'd count the promise as technically true and practically useless.

How renewal and cancelling work

Subscriptions "automatically renew at the conclusion of each subscription period... unless cancelled". Cancelling is done under Settings with a button called "Unsubscribe". After cancelling, access continues to the end of the billing period.

That is a clean setup. No phone call, no chat with a retention bot, and you keep what you paid for until the period ends. Of everything on this app, cancelling is the part I'd leave exactly as it is.

I'd still cancel right after paying if you only want one month, since access carries on regardless.

Deleting your partner and history

The official FAQ says "you can delete your AI partner along with the full history at any moment with a single tap." That is good to have, but read it next to the privacy policy in the terms section, which keeps personal data for years after an account closes. One tap to delete is the right design; I'd just like the retention period to match it.

Before you pay

My checklist is short. Decide which card you're comfortable seeing 'Golove.ai' on. Screenshot the price at checkout, since it isn't public.

Cancel under Settings the same day if you want one month only, and delete the chat history before you close the account.

Conversation quality is weak. Replies could skip a message, and the character's job never made it into the chat. Memory is weak too: the promises are big, and the one moment that stood out was a character guessing her own job for mine.

The free tier scores low because the marketing and the terms disagree, and the terms describe a small message cap. Value for money is weak, with a tiny Star allowance, packs on top and prices hidden until after sign-up.

Privacy and terms score low for long data retention, a broad content license and marketing claims that the policy doesn't back up. Cancelling and billing are mixed: cancelling is simple, refunds are tight and the statement is plain. Content settings are mixed as well: clear rules, a click-through gate and one landing-page heading I'd rewrite.

Where GoLove AI looks stronger is the media toolset. Six video modes, a feed, live sessions and group photos is a longer feature list than most companion apps put on the front page, and if generation is the point for you, that list is the reason to look.

Where it looks weaker is almost everything around the chat: a conversation that skipped messages, prices hidden behind a login and a refund window measured in hours. Several apps in the table let you see a price before you sign up, and I'd count that alone as a real advantage.

There is also a quirk worth knowing. The footer links to a large network of landing pages named after competitors, for example "Muah AI", "Darlink AI", "SpicyChat AI", "Grok NSFW Chat" and "Sora AI NSFW Chat". Two of those names are in my table.

If you search for one of them, check the address bar before you assume you've landed on the real thing.

My rule of thumb: pick GoLove AI for generated clips of a ready-made character, and pick one of the calmer apps in the table for anything that depends on being listened to.

The site as of September 2026 is bigger than the one in my story. It has a creator, a video studio and more characters than it can count consistently. None of that changes the two things I'd want to know first: whether she answers the message I actually sent, and what it costs before I type my e-mail address.

If the pictures are what you want, go in with a budget and a stopwatch of your own. If you want to be heard, look elsewhere.

What I kept from the month is a plain line on a bank statement and the knowledge that my favorite pizza is now on file in Cyprus for years. As secrets go, I can live with that one.
