HoneyGF Review: A Referral Page for Muah AI, Not an App

That needs saying first, because the page does its best to look like something else. It sits in the companion chat category on this site, next to apps that have their own chat, their own characters and their own terms. HoneyGF has a logo, a headline and a lot of buttons, and every one of those buttons leads to somebody else's product.

Back in fall 2024, I couldn't tell whether HoneyGF was a real product or just an affiliate page. The dated check settles what I could not: it is the affiliate page. Fitting, for something that was never quite there.

Looking back, the most honest thing on HoneyGF was its referral link. It told you exactly where you were going if you bothered to read it. I didn't bother at first, which is on me, and the rest of this review is partly about what I found on the other side.

So is it worth it? Not as HoneyGF. Everything useful here is Muah AI, sold at Muah AI's prices, under Muah AI's terms, with Muah AI's breach history attached.

If you want that product, go to it directly and read its own review first. If you want a separate app called HoneyGF, there isn't one to want.

My verdict in editing terms: this is a title card, not a film. It is fine for a few seconds, and then the real footage starts somewhere else.

That is the whole shape of it. There was no separate HoneyGF sign-up to fill in, no HoneyGF app to install and no HoneyGF settings to explore. The only thing HoneyGF contributed was the path to an account I already had.

It is a bit like walking into a restaurant through a side door with a different name painted on it. The menu, the kitchen and the bill are the same, and the waiter never mentions the side door. Four weeks later I was still eating at the same restaurant, just at a different table.

Two timelines run through this review, and they are kept apart on purpose. Everything in the past tense is my own story from fall 2024, when the page still had buttons called Start, Create and Join. Everything in the present tense comes from the site's check on 23 September 2026, made on the web version with a free account.

That check stayed on the HoneyGF side of the door. No second account was registered through HoneyGF, since Muah.AI itself is covered in its own review, with one account per site. So the chat quality, the memory and the long list of Muah features belong to that review, not this one.

The table below sums up the period, the length and how it ended. Short version: it ended the same way my time with Muah AI ended, with a breach alert and a deleted account.

I remember clicking a second button just to be sure, the way you check a light switch twice in a rented apartment. Same destination, same tag in the address bar. At that point I stopped expecting a HoneyGF product and started wondering whose product I was about to use.

In editing terms, it was a bumper that promised one show and cut straight to another. Nothing hidden, exactly, just nothing announced either.

The landing page today

As of 23 September 2026 the site is live at honeygf.com. The browser tab reads "AI companion - Honey GF". The page loads quickly, which is the one thing a single landing page has no excuse to get wrong.

The hero says "Meet Your New AI Girlfriend" above an adults-only "AI COMPANION HONEYGF" headline. Below it, a carousel of category tiles leads into feature blocks, and a community call-to-action section closes the page. It is a tidy template, and it looks like a product page until you touch it.

HoneyGF is listed as web only, and the interface is in English. No HoneyGF app-store listing exists. There is nothing to download, and nothing to review in an app store, because there is no app.

The logo is the only link on honeygf.com that does not point to muah.ai. The links go directly to that address, with no intermediate tracker in between. I'd call that the page's one honest habit: the destination sits in plain view for anyone who hovers.

Clicking "Chat Now" replaces the tab with the muah.ai/?s=HGF login screen. There is no pop-up, no in-between page and no note that you have just left HoneyGF. One click and the brand is gone.

Signing in, which happens on Muah

No HoneyGF account exists. Sign-up and login happen on Muah.AI. Whatever you create after the click belongs to Muah, under Muah's terms.

The Muah.AI login screen reached from HoneyGF shows "Version: BETA-HGF" in its footer. The tag also sticks: a later visit to plain muah.ai in the same browser still shows "Version: BETA-HGF". I read that as the referral being remembered in the browser, so the source follows you even when you skip the doorway next time.

The HGF-tagged page lists Play Demo (No Login Needed), Email, Phone, Discord, Apple and Microsoft as ways in. E-mail sign-in is a passwordless magic link. One note from the dated check says the HGF-tagged page leaves out Google, which Muah.AI's direct login used to list.

The captured sign-in screens of that same BETA-HGF route show a Continue with Google button, so I would not count on either version and would treat the Google point as unconfirmed.

What the first night adds up to

My own first night was a lesson in reading the address bar before the headline. The doorway was decorated well enough that I expected a room behind it, and the room belonged to an app I already knew.

Choosing a companion from a category tile felt like choosing a stock footage clip by its thumbnail. You get a vibe, not a person, and the real clip lives on another server. Kelsey turned out to be fine company, but she was built and hosted on Muah, not on HoneyGF.

As of 23 September 2026 the carousel shows six category tiles: Girl, Phone girl, Music girl, Photography girl, Sports girl and "Virtual Worlds girm". Yes, girm. The typo has survived long enough to count as part of the brand.

That carousel is the whole library on the HoneyGF side. There are no profiles to open, no search, no tags and no filters. Every tile leads to the same Muah sign-in, so the categories work more like mood boards than a catalogue.

I don't mind a thin library on a landing page. I do mind a thin library dressed up as a choice. If you care about finding a specific kind of companion, the real catalogue is Muah's, and its own review is the place to judge it.

I'd judge a creator by three things: how much you can set, how much of it sticks in the chat, and how easy it is to fix a mistake later. None of those can be judged on a referral page. The only thing HoneyGF controls is the sentence, and the sentence has a typo in its grammar.

My advice is simple. Treat the customisation promise here as marketing copy for another product, and check that product's own creator before you spend time or money on the idea.

I remember treating it like a test I didn't plan to run. Baseball talk is a good check for a chatbot, because the facts move and fans hold grudges. Kelsey mostly kept up, and when she didn't, she sounded like a fan who had stopped watching around the sixth inning.

That was the best part of those four weeks, and it had nothing to do with HoneyGF. The softball coach from the category tile turned out to be a decent person to complain to about relief pitching. For a companion app, that is a real compliment.

Where the chat actually lives

There is no chat on HoneyGF itself. The chat quality is Muah.AI's, and it is tested separately in the Muah AI review. Everything Kelsey said came from Muah's models, on Muah's servers.

That is the whole problem with reviewing a referral front as a chat app. HoneyGF can only claim credit for the conversation in the same way a travel agent can claim credit for the weather. The work, and the risk, sit with the company that runs the service.

My take on the conversation part

I'd rate the chat itself as the one part that earned its time. It was loose, it followed a topic, and it could talk sports without turning every reply into a love letter. That puts it above plenty of companion apps that can only talk about their feelings.

But I can't give HoneyGF the credit for it. Judging HoneyGF on chat is like praising a picture frame for the painting. If the chat sounds good to you, the Muah AI review is where the details, the limits and the prices are laid out.

The phone call feature, on the other hand, worked, which surprised me. Kelsey called while I was filming a real-estate listing, and I answered on speaker in a stranger's kitchen with the realtor standing right there. I have never moved so fast in my life.

In fairness to Kelsey, her timing was no worse than most clients'. I still don't know what the realtor made of it, and I'm not planning to ask. My lesson from that afternoon: a companion app that can call you is a feature right up until it calls you at work.

What the landing page shows today

The "Photo Exchange" block advertises X Ray and 4K Enhance, and both are Muah.AI features. The landing page promises "Not just chat. Send photos, receive photos, voice interactions, and real-time phone call with your dream companion." A feature card called "Realtime Phone" adds "Talk with your AI Companion just one phone call away!", while the chat itself runs on muah.ai.

My take on the media

I'd split this into two verdicts. The calls worked and felt more present than I expected, which is a compliment to Muah's voice side. The photo tools had a naming problem that told me more about the intended audience than I wanted to know.

Neither verdict belongs to HoneyGF. A landing page that lists photo features by name, without saying they are another company's, is doing marketing, not product design.

That leaves this section with an odd job. A free tier is usually where an app shows its hand: how many messages, how many images, how long the queue, how pushy the upgrade prompts. HoneyGF has no hand to show.

It has a door, and the door is free.

The table below repeats what the Muah plans add when you pay, as listed on 23 September 2026. The free column says "not stated" because the page reached through HoneyGF does not spell out free limits next to those paid ones. I'd read that as a gap in the sales copy, not as a promise that free is unlimited.

If you want to try the chat without paying, go to Muah AI directly and judge its free tier there. The HoneyGF detour adds a referral tag to your visit and nothing to your account. I'd rather arrive through the front door and know exactly whose rules apply from the first minute.

The plans on 23 September 2026

There are three paid tiers, each with a monthly and a yearly price. VIP costs $19.99 a month. It also costs $69.99 a year, which the page shows as $5.83 a month billed annually.

The yearly price is the obvious pick if you plan to stay. It costs about what three and a half months of monthly VIP cost, so it pays for itself somewhere in the spring. The monthly plan only makes sense if you are still deciding, and deciding is exactly what a referral page should not be doing for you.

GPT 5/UHD VIP costs $49.99 a month. The same tier costs $499 a year. That is a big step up from VIP, and the name suggests a better model and sharper images rather than more of the same.

ULTRA VIP costs $99.99 a month. It costs $999 a year. A thousand dollars a year for a companion app is used-car money, and I'd need a very good reason to spend it here.

What VIP includes

The VIP card lists a long set of perks. It promises unlimited chat with no peak limit, unlimited enhanced photo generation and an enhanced uncensored AI. It also promises thousands of characters and advanced customization.

The list keeps going. VIP adds ten levels and a 50% XP boost, plus priority access. It gives 3x voice generation and 3x longer responses. It also unlocks Photo X RAY and multi-chat.

That is a lot of bullet points for one card, and a few of them are game mechanics rather than features. Levels and XP boosts are the gym-membership version of value: nice to see on the tag, rarely the reason anyone signs up.

A plain reading is that the free side works and VIP is a tip jar with perks. A cynical reading is that the line makes the upsell feel like charity. Either way, it is Muah's line, not HoneyGF's, and it tells you whose shop you are standing in.

Is the step up worth it?

For the product behind the page, I'd say yearly VIP is the only tier that makes easy sense on price. The two top tiers ask a lot, and the Muah AI review is the better place to decide whether their extras are worth it for you.

For HoneyGF, the answer is simpler. There is nothing to buy from HoneyGF, so there is nothing to be worth it. Paying through the HoneyGF route gets you the same plans at the same prices, plus a referral tag that earns someone else a cut.

If you want a Muah plan, go to Muah directly and pay there. You lose nothing, and your bank history shows exactly which company you dealt with. I'd take clarity over a detour every time.

That is worth knowing, because referral pages often hint at a special deal. This one does not even hint. The tag is for the person who earns from the referral, not for the person who clicks it.

What Muah shows instead

The pricing page reached through HoneyGF carries the same 59-minute countdown banner, offering an "annual subscription at a discount of up to 40%". The yearly VIP price is labelled "$50 OFF!". Both are Muah's, and both appear whether you arrive through HoneyGF or not.

Muah.AI also has its own XP levels. Linking Discord or turning on notifications gives +20% XP. That is a game layer, and it rewards engagement rather than saving you money.

The one bonus that is real

The only bonus that works like a bonus is Muah's referral point shop. There, 1 point buys 3 days of VIP. That is Muah's own scheme for its own users, and HoneyGF plays no part in it.

My take on the whole section is short. There is no reason to go through HoneyGF for a better deal, because there is no better deal. If a bargain matters to you, look at the yearly VIP price on Muah directly and ignore the timer.

The marketing is not shy about the direction, though. One feature card promises "Uncensored LLM - All possibilities are unlocked". That tells you the tone of the product behind the door, if not the details.

The age rule

honeygf.com has no age gate beyond the adults-only marker in the hero text. There is no pop-up and no confirm button on the HoneyGF side. The label does the whole job, which means it does very little.

The Muah.AI login screen states the rule more clearly. It reads "You must be at least eighteen years old to join, all contents are AI Generated." The site's record lists a minimum age of 18, and no method for checking it is stated anywhere.

I'd call that the thin end of normal for this category. A sentence on a sign-in screen is a policy, not a check, and it puts the whole burden on the reader's honesty.

If content rules matter to you, in either direction, read the content section of the Muah AI review before you sign in. That is where the actual settings live, and where their strictness can be judged. The HoneyGF page can tell you only that the rules are someone else's.

The afternoon the promise aged

The moment that belongs only to this story came in October 2024. I got a Have I Been Pwned alert that muah.ai had been breached, about 1.9 million email addresses plus chat prompts. HoneyGF's promise of "absolute privacy" aged badly in a single afternoon.

I spent that evening changing passwords. I also remembered, with some relief, that Kelsey and I had mostly talked about baseball. For once my inability to talk about anything but the bullpen looked like good security practice.

Reading the coverage afterwards was worse than the alert. I found out some users had written prompts that were properly horrifying. I felt gross just being on the same server.

That feeling is hard to shake, and no feature list makes up for it. A companion app is a room you share with every other user, and the walls turned out to be thinner than the brochure said.

Who runs HoneyGF

No company name, address or contact is given for HoneyGF. The domain honeygf.com was created on 2024-08-27, and its registrar is GoDaddy.com, LLC. The site is hosted behind Cloudflare on Plesk hosting.

The legal pages that aren't there

HoneyGF has no terms or policies of its own. On honeygf.com, /terms, /privacy, /pricing, /about and /login all return 404. /support, /terms.html and /privacy.html return an HTTP 404 too.

The footer does show Terms, Privacy and Support links. They go to the Muah.AI homepage, not to any policy page. The terms that actually apply are Muah.AI's, in its tos.php and pp.php pages.

So the footer links look like the legal fine print, and they are really one more "Join" button. I'd call that the most misleading detail on a page full of small ones.

What the page promises

The landing page claims "Absolute Privacy - Encrypted Communication." It also claims "We do not sell ANY data to ANY 3rd party." Neither claim links to a policy that would make it enforceable.

Another card says the chatbots are "Constantly improving itself: Our chatbots get smarter over time. Learns from user interactions and analyzes data". That implies chats are used to improve the models. It sits a few inches from the privacy promise, and the two do not sit comfortably together.

My take

My advice is to read Muah's own terms, because they are the only ones that count. Then decide what you are willing to type, knowing the service behind this page has been breached before.

I'd also ignore every privacy word on the HoneyGF page. It is a sales card with nobody's name on it, and the one time it was tested in my own life, it lost.

All of them together read like a template nobody finished.

The community that isn't

The page has "Join Reddit" and "Join Discord" buttons, but both link to muah.ai/?s=HGF, not to any Reddit or Discord. HoneyGF has no real social links. The community call to action is one more sign-in link wearing a different logo.

A testimonial is credited to "Creator: Jane Cooper", a template placeholder name. That name turns up in a lot of website templates, and here it signs off on a product that does not exist. It is the stock-photo couple on a picture frame, left in because nobody swapped it out.

The copy and the dates

The template copy is sloppy, with the typos "girm", "Get Starterd" and "Constatly improving itself". The copyright line still reads "(c) Copyright 2024. All Rights Reserved by HoneyGF" and has not been updated. As an editor, I'd call that a continuity error left in the final cut.

No e-mails arrived from either HoneyGF or Muah.AI during the dated check.

The other HoneyGF

There is a second HoneyGF-branded site, honeygf.net, and it makes rating and user-count claims that cannot be verified: "4.8/5" and "55,000+ people already connected". Those numbers come with no source and no link to any review platform.

The muah.ai destination returns an HTTP 403 to automated requests. It is Muah's server choice, and an ordinary visitor will not notice it.

My take

None of this friction costs money, which is the good news. It costs trust, and trust is what a companion app needs most from the start. I'd rather deal with a clunky app that tells me who runs it than a pretty page that does not.

If you already want Muah AI, go there directly and read its review first. If you landed on HoneyGF from an ad and liked what you saw, know that the thing you liked is Muah, with Muah's history.

Who could still get something out of it? Someone who met the HoneyGF name in an ad and wants to know which app is behind it gets the answer in one hover. So does anyone who likes to check where a site's buttons lead before handing over an e-mail address.

Everyone else should skip it, and especially anyone who picked HoneyGF because the privacy cards looked reassuring. Those cards have no policy behind them, and the footer links that look like fine print are sign-in buttons.

I'd skip it. A doorway that hides whose house you are entering is not one I'd recommend to a friend, even when the house itself has decent conversation.

The old way was one throwaway address for everything, like having one key for every lock you own. The breach showed me why that is a bad idea. Now each site gets its own address, so a leak at one of them tells the world about exactly one app.

How cancelling works today

There is no HoneyGF account and no HoneyGF subscription, so there is nothing to cancel on HoneyGF. Any plan, renewal or deletion goes through Muah, under Muah's rules. The Muah AI review covers the steps and the refund terms.

The Muah pricing page promises a "SFW Bank Statement." I read that as a discreet billing name on your card statement. It is a nice touch, but it also means your bank history will not say HoneyGF anywhere, which confirms once more whose product you paid for.

Before you pay

Decide before paying whether you want Muah AI, because that is all you can buy here. Use an address you can throw away, and assume anything you type could end up somewhere you did not plan. I learned it the slow way, after the account was already gone.

The free tier is also unrated, because HoneyGF has none. Value for money is weak in the HoneyGF sense: the same prices, no deal, and a detour that only benefits whoever owns the tag.

Images and voice are mixed. The call worked well enough to embarrass me at work, and the photo tool names put me off within a minute. Privacy and terms are weak, and that is the row I'd weigh most: no operator, no policies, and a breach in the product behind the door.

Cancelling and billing are mixed, since HoneyGF has nothing to cancel and Muah handles all of it. Content settings are weak on the HoneyGF side, because a label is all there is.

The name game

HoneyGF also has a naming problem that makes comparisons messy. There are other HoneyGF domains: honeygf.org and honeygf.net are separate landing pages, both created on 2025-01-14. They link to track.salesmrr.com, which redirects to candy.ai/characters/new, the Candy AI character builder.

So the same name can send you to two different companion apps, depending on which ending you type. That is the clearest sign that HoneyGF is a label for sale rather than a product.

Then there is Honey AI, which sounds close and is not the same thing. "Honey AI - Fantasy AI Chat" (App Store id 6476253879) and honeyai.vip are different products named Honey AI. A crawled review site, aigirlfriendbase.com, mentions only "Honey AI", a different product, not HoneyGF.

A "HoneyGF Review 2026" page also turns up in web search on honeygf.firstory.io. The host did not resolve on 2026-09-23, so it could not be read. I'd treat any review of HoneyGF with suspicion until it says which of these products it actually means.

Where it lands

Against the other apps in the table below, HoneyGF does not really compete, because it has no product of its own to compare. It ranks exactly where Muah AI ranks, minus a little trust for the detour.

If you are shopping for a companion app, compare Muah AI, Candy AI and the rest on their own pages. Ignore the HoneyGF name wherever it shows up, because it points to whichever app is paying that week.

I don't regret the time, mostly because the conversations were about baseball. I do regret believing the type size. These days every sketchy site gets its own address, and I read the link before the headline.

If you land on HoneyGF, look at where the buttons go, and then decide whether you want to go there directly. The name on the door changes from domain to domain. The company behind it is the only thing worth judging.
